Halton STEM Club’s FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) (https://firstroboticscanada.org/fll/) Transition is a non-competitive program designed to prepare students for the FLL Challenge competitive program. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, students use LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime and Python as the robot platform, to design, build, and code LEGO-based robots to complete various challenging missions on a themed playing mat.
FLL is much more than robotics! In addition to coding, students will also learn how to work as a team, how to research, and how to develop impactful solutions which will become the foundation for their innovation project.
At the end of the season, students participate in an in-house Scrimmage. This tournament allows Transition teams to compete against other internal teams and showcase their robot design and strategy. They will also have time to present their innovation projects to a mock judging panel.
