The team activities will be held at Techplace (http://techplace.ca/) in Burlington

2 hours, Mondays, from 7:00-9:00 PM
3 hours, Fridays, from 6:00-9:00 PM
(No club activities on statutory holidays)
Session 1 : August 2020 - February 20201
- Lessons for EV3 Programming
- Preparation for FLL Presentation, Reports, Robotics Design and Operation
- Attending FLL Competition in December 2020 to February 2021
Session 2 : March 2021 - June 2021
- Lessons for Arduino Design (Python or JavaScript)
- Integrated projects using MIT App Inventor to control Arduino, or EV3
- Preparation for MIT App Inventor Creation Competition in July 2021
- Optional: Zone01, EV3 Robotics Challenge, potential competition in April 2021
Eligibility:
The team will have a maximum of 10 members. We recommend that the candidates are 10+ years old and have experience with Lego EV3 and text coding such as Python/JavaScript
Registration:
Registration should be no later than 31st July 2020.
Tryouts:
For whom submitted the registration form, we will confirm with you the time to tryout via emails. You can decide to pay the total fee or the deposit at the tryout.
Fee:
The club is non-profit organization. Please pay in Cheque, or E-transfer to: haltonstemclub@gmail.com *Additional EV3 Kit rental fee may apply.
Participation in special events might require a separate cost. The club is to cover physical materials, Lego Education sets, and cost of instructors.
