OUR VISION
To arm youth with knowledge that will usher you into a position of power that allows you to change the world.
Halton STEM Club is a non-profit organization established in 2018. The club provides STEM projects by participating the FIRST Lego League (FLL) annual actives for Grade 2-8.
Different level of programs are offered at the club, which includes engineering projects, robotics competition, and coding challenges.

OUR PRIORITY
Encourage young members to develop leadership and problem-solving skills through focused STEM activities and challenges.
Grade 2-4
FIRST® LEGO® LEAGUE (FLL)
Explore
Halton STEM Club’s FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Explore program is designed to introduce students to robotics, coding, engineering design and 3D modeling through hands-on activities and projects. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, students in this program learn to identify connections and similarities between different technologies and form an intuitive understanding of logic, math, and science.

Grade 4-8
FIRST® LEGO LEAGUE (FLL) CHALLENGE
Transition
Halton STEM Club’s FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Transition is a non-competitive program designed to prepare students for the FLL Challenge competitive program. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, students use LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime as the robot platform, to design, build, and code LEGO-based robots to complete various challenging missions on a themed playing mat. FLL is much more than robotics, we will also learn how to work together, how to research, and how to make an impact with innovative solutions. In the end, we will present our results to a mock judging panel and also test out the robot game results.
Grade 4 - 8
FIRST® LEGO LEAGUE (FLL) CHALLENGE
Competitive
In Halton STEM Club’s FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge (FLL) Competitive program, students compete at FLL Challenge tournaments as a team, practice presentation and leadership. FLL Tournament includes Robotic Game, Innovative Project Presentation, and Core Value Presentation. We coach the robotic design and train the skills of presentation. You will be part of the robotic game to reach the score as high as you can and present the team ideas in front of the judges at the event. Your leadership to collaborate with the team for maximizing the opportunity to win is very important.

Grade 9 - 12
FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION (FRC)
Halton STEM Club students have the option to advances to FRC programs lead by community partners. Our students have the opportunity to continue the journey with FRC teams that has great history and performance.
Orbit Community Robotics - 1360
OUR GOAL
To promote awareness, interest, and knowledge of STEM subjects among young people to present their ideas.

COLLABORATION
Our Exclusive Sponsor
Our partnership with Orbit Robotics - an Oakville's esteemed community FIRST robotics team. This collaboration brings together two non-profit organizations dedicated to fostering STEM education among youth in the community. Seamless transition from FLL to FRIST Robotics Competition (FRC) at their Grade 9-12. A continuous pathway access to higher levels of STEM activities nationally or worldwide.
