Halton STEM Club is a non-profit organization established in 2018. The club provides STEM projects by participating the FIRST Lego League (FLL) annual actives for Grade 2-8.
Different level of programs are offered at the club, which includes engineering projects, robotics competition, and coding challenges.

In FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Explore, students grades 2 to 4 focus on the fundamentals of engineering, design, and coding using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime.

Transition
In Halton STEM Club’s Transition program, students grades 4 to 8 learn the fundamentals of the FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) in preparation for the FLL Challenge program.

FIRST® LEGO LEAGUE (FLL) CHALLENGE
Competitive
FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Challenge is a competitive program that allows teams of students, grades 4 to 8, to navigate missions of a robot game and to participate in a research project to identify and solve real-world problems.


Grade 9 - 12
FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION (FRC)
Halton STEM Club students have the option to advances to FRC programs lead by community partners. Our students have the opportunity to continue the journey with FRC teams that has great history and performance.

Our partnership with Orbit Robotics - an Oakville's esteemed community FIRST robotics team. This collaboration brings together two non-profit organizations dedicated to fostering STEM education among youth in the community. Seamless transition from FLL to FRIST Robotics Competition (FRC) at their Grade 9-12. A continuous pathway access to higher levels of STEM activities nationally or worldwide.
